New Jailbreak Tweaks You Need To Try This Week

3:32 PM

Everyone, especially the jailbreak community, is excited due to the recent news that Ian Beer found and plans to release a tfp0 exploit for iOS 11.3.1 and CoolStar’s Electra jailbreak tool which is expected to add support for the new exploit soon. So given that there’s a good chance that the upcoming ability to jailbreak iOS 11.3.1 will be released soon, it would be a good idea to familiarize with some of the latest jailbreak tweaks first.

This next jailbreak tweak is compatible with iOS 11 and was tested on iPhone X running on iOS 11.1.2 and iPhone 6S running on iOS 11.0.3. As for its features, the CCLessStatusBAR hides the Status Bar on the Control Center of the iPhone X and the Chevron of other Devices on System Wide.

To anyone who likes that layout of the iPhone X Status Bar, then the StatusBarX jailbreak tweak is a good choice because it ports the iPhone X Status Bar experience to non-iPhone X handsets. Just like on the iPhone X Status bar, the time gets placed on the left side of the display, while the battery level, wireless connection indicator, and signal strength are placed on the opposite side.

In case you’re not a fan of the Music widget in iOS due to its usability, this Tractor jailbreak will come in handy because it adds functional music control buttons to make it more reliable and convenient to use.

In this jailbreak tweak, the buttons include play/pause, fast-forward and rewind. In addition, the three buttons mimic the same music controls which users would experience elsewhere in iOS, specifically on the Lock screen and Music app.

Aside from the three that were mentioned, there were other releases as well. This includes:

  • ByeBreadcrumbs which removes the Status Bar-based Breadcrumbs links in iOS 11.
  • NoSiriFlames which hides the ‘flames’ animations displayed by Siri.
  • Straw which Displays a notification banner when the Now Playing song changes.

So what did you think about the list? Did you like any of them? Tell us your thoughts and opinions in the comment section below.
