iOS 11.2.6 Jailbreak User-space Security Research Platform Details
Similar to other members of the jailbreak community Azad has taken to Twitter to reveal that he’s actively working on a project that’s related to iOS 11.2.6 and lower versions. Based on the unfamiliar developer, this project will result in the making of a “user-space security research platform” which will basically let the device owners having a compatible firmware to run signed binaries and explicit tweaks.
For those on iOS 11.2.6 or below, I'm working on a userspace security research platform. You'll be able to spawn pseudo-signed binaries to run as unsandboxed root with arbitrary entitlements (including task_for_pid-allow).

Based on his Tweet it appears that he’s working to put together a platform which will let the device owners that are on iOS 11.2.6 and below to run particular applications and jailbreak tweaks outside of the sandboxed atmosphere. This is, in any way not similar to having a full jailbreak tool on the device. Apart from that, it is also certainly won’t give the users an access to Cydia and the capability of installing any tweaks or packages. The said user-space security research platform will be an environment in which the iOS device owners will be given additional flexibility which doesn’t come when a device is running on a stock version of the Cupertino-based tech company’s iOS platform.
iOS 11.2.6 Jailbreak User-space Security Research Platform Release Date
When it comes to the release date, Azad’s tweet doesn’t specifically give any timeframe for it. Aside from that, he also doesn’t reveal if the release will be intended for the developers only or if it will have a minimal advantage to the general customers. Also, it’s still unknown if his work could be a basis of something that’s better in the future.
As of now, it is advised not keep your hopes high. But despite that, always keep an eye for further jailbreak updates as we’ll surely keep you posted!
