Did Infinity Ward Revealed The Release Dates Of PS5 And Xbox Two?

1:29 PM

American video game developer Infinity Ward posted a new job listing to work on an “unannounced next-gen title”. With this, reports suspect that it could be the Call of Duty 2019 (COD 2019) and it will arrive on the current PlayStation 4 and Xbox One as well as the upcoming PlayStation 5 and Xbox Two Scarlett.

According to a report, every year, Call of Duty games are released by different game developers; Infinity Ward, Sledgehammer Games, and Treyarch. Under its belt, the company has made one of the best games including Modern Warfare 2 and 3.

Another great game from Infinity Ward

Back in June this year, a Twitter user who goes by the name “COD Veteran” asked Infinity Ward’s studio art director Joel Emslie about the company’s next game. Emslie responded that he has seen things at the studio that gives him goosebumps and sends him running back to his desk to keep creating. With that, he believes that their next game is going to be extraordinary.

Comparing it to PS5 and Xbox Two’s release date

If you’ve been following the rumored release dates of Xbox Two and PS5, you know that both are expected to come in at least 2020. However, with the PS5, there have been reports as well that it could be “introduced in late 2019”.

Now, regarding COD games, we’re going to point out Call of Duty: Ghosts. It was released in November of 2013 and is playable on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.  Another thing that’s worth mentioning is that the PS4 and Xbox One were released in November of 2013 as well.

Thinking about this, one can’t help but ask: Is this evidence that Sony and Microsoft’s upcoming next-gen consoles could arrive in late 2019? But of course, this is assuming two things: Call of Duty 2019 will be released in late 2019, and it will be playable on the PS4, Xbox One, and the upcoming next-gen consoles
