FFC Listing Reveals Huawei Watch GT Will Feature NFC, Type-C USB, 410 mAh battery And More
To all smartwatch fans, especially those who were looking forward to the Huawei Watch GT, there’s good news for all of you, because new and exciting details of the said device have been discovered. Apparently, it will feature NFC, Type-C USB, a 410 mAh battery, and more.
Two weeks ago, an ECC certification listing in Europe has been spotted. On the listing, the new wearables wear spotted; Huawei Watch GT (FTN-B19) and Honor Watch (TLS-B19). As for their specs and details, nothing much was revealed except that both devices will presumably run on Wear OS.
Fast forward to the present, an FCC listing was spotted featuring model number FTN-B19. Based on the listing, the said smartwatch features NFC, USB Type-C, GPS, and a 410mAh battery with 5W charging.
When Will It Be Released?
Regarding its release, we can’t really say with full accuracy because Huawei has been tight lip about it. However, we do know that the company has a scheduled press event for October 16, 2018, in London for the unveiling of the Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro smartphone. With this, reports suggest that the Huawei Watch GT could appear on this event.
Specs/Features of Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro
Speaking about the upcoming Huawei phones, both phones will be packed with a Kirin 980 processor, a 24MP front camera and triple-lens cameras on the back. In addition to that, they also come with a voice unlock a feature called Bone Voice ID.
As for their differences, the standard model will have a 6.53-inch flat screen, 4GB of RAM, 4,000 mAh battery, IP53 rating, and rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. Meanwhile, for the pro version, it will sport a 6.9-inch curved display, 6GB of RAM, 4,200 mAh battery, IP67 rating, in-display fingerprint sensor, and 3D Face Unlock.
