Okay, we just had Apple’s event and the gadgets presented there were amazing, especially the Apple Watch Series 4. Now it’s time to look forward to Microsoft’s upcoming event next month.

The Upcoming Event

Last week, Microsoft sent out invites for its upcoming event “A moment of your time”. The said event will be held in New York City on October 2, 2018.

The previous year, the giant tech company also held a number of events during the same month. For this year, although we don’t know what will be presented on the upcoming event, there have been expectations, rumors, and speculations on what could appear on the upcoming event.

Surface Refresh

There have been talks that the company will show off some refreshes for the Surface Pro 6, Laptop and Book devices. These devices are expected to be armed with the latest 8th generation Intel chips.

HoloLens 2.0

Although the HoloLens 2.0 has been rumored to come in 2019, there is a possibility that this could make an appearance next month. In fact, there have been patents of it spotted online. The last patent was reported back in June.

Surface Hub 2

The Surface Hub 2 is also slated to come next year. However, reports are suggesting that Microsoft could mention this mega-size tablet at the upcoming event.

Surface Studio 2

The currently available model of this all-in-one PC was unveiled back in October 2016 and was later released on December.  It won’t be surprising if it will show up next month.

Surface Headset

According to Microsoft watcher Mary Jo Foley, Microsoft has been developing a Surface-branded headset and believes that this could be presented next month. If this is true, fans will definitely love it – let’s just hope it won’t be crazy expensive.

Surface Go with LTE

Last August, the Surface Go was launched. During that time, Microsoft promised that it will be releasing an LTE model later this year.

Windows 10 and Other Software

We’re expecting a Windows 10 update to pop up at the event. Furthermore, we’re also expecting that details regarding the Office 2019, updates to the Office 365, and the Cortana and Alexa integration.
