Initially released last September 2013, GTA V was and still on the top of the charts when it comes to modern gaming and this game took the crown when it went out on the market. Now, many are looking forward to the release of its next installment, The Grand Theft Auto VI. Rockstar Games knows what gaming is and set high standards of what enjoyment really means. However, on the side notes, fans may have to wait a little bit more, probably 2 to 4 years more for the much-awaited installment.

Same can be said for the next generation gaming console like the PlayStation 5. According to some sources like Michael Pachter, an American video game, and electronics analyst, in a podcast session with Josiah Renaudin’s “The 1099”, “I think that’s exactly when you’ll see one (PS5) 2019 or 2020, and if I had to bet, it’s 2020. Sony’s making so much money with the PS4 that I think they’ll continue to milk it as long as they can milk it.” We can bet that Xbox will join the race with Sony and will be releasing their console around the same time as Sony.

Now, if we read between these timelines, we can picture out that GTA VI will be released in-line for these new consoles. If the GTA 5 successor still needs 3-4 years to release, then the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Two apparently will be already in the stores. However, it is still only a theory as we don’t know the date Microsoft and Sony will unveil their next gaming consoles.

According to the YouTube Channel The Know, GTA VI might feature female character(s) in the storyboard plus a large area of the game map will be covered in the game. Vice City may also be one of the settings for this game and it may involve flying around some places in South America for in-game missions.

For now, nothing is certain yet and many can happen within 2 to 4 years time, only Rockstar, Microsoft and Sony will know if GTA VI will be for the new breeds of console or not.
