If you know about the massive success of Grand Theft Auto V, you know how much people are excited about GTA 6. While Rockstar Games has been silent about the development of the follow-up to GTA 5, it is becoming obvious that the next game will offer major changes to how gamers do missions.

Differing mission objectives for GTA 6

Recent reports have confirmed that developers are preparing a lot of missions that gamers can do when they play. It is said that each mission has diverse mission objectives that will make Grand Theft Auto 6 a legitimately exciting gaming title.

As to the setting, there are rumors that Rockstar Games will be returning the game’s location to Vice City. However, there are more credible reports that the game development studio will be using an entirely new location instead.

Big shoes to fill for Grand Theft Auto 6

Even though GTA 5 had a mixed reaction among critics when it was released, no one can deny the cultural impact that it has had since 2013. It has become the bestselling entertainment title in history, earning more than $6 billion.

Even when it is already five years in existence, it is still raking in money. In July 2018, the game managed to maintain its ranking in the list of the bestselling video games in the United States, according to Business Insider. In fact, its sales are now nearing a total of 100 million units.

There is still no official word from Rockstar Games on the release date of the GTA VI. But it is likely that it will become available as late as 2022.

How do you think will the changes to the franchise gameplay affect the gamers’ and critics’ reception of GTA 6? Will this make the upcoming game better than Grand Theft Auto V? Post an entry in the comments section below.
