GoPro Hero 7 Black, Silver, and White Announced – Latest Specifications Detailed
The action camera company GoPro is actually not supposed to unveil its latest generation of action cameras today. However, someone might have accidentally pushed the “Publish” button a bit early today giving us an early look of the entire HERO7 lineup.
According to Business Wire, the company has revealed its new HERO7 lineup—the HERO7 Black, HERO7 Silver, and HERO7 White. The HERO7 Black is the cream of the crop because it is designed for professionals to capture some of those hard-to-reach shots. This also goes for sports enthusiasts to get the top image quality from an action camera.
In terms of specification, GoPro HERO7 Black is perhaps the most advanced, sophisticated, and full-featured action camera ever made. It features 8x slow-motion capture unlike the other two cameras and supports an external microphone via an optional adapter for cleaner audio. It also offers an HDMI video output connector with HyperSmooth digital image stabilization to compensate for camera shakes.
This device has a 12-megapixel image sensor producing a sharper 4K image and capturing 12-megapixel photos. Unlike the two models, the battery is removable making it easier to switch into a new battery and eliminating recharging times. Other than these, the device is capable of live streaming and Protune to achieve highly enhanced results.
Meanwhile, the HERO7 Silver can capture 4K images but at up to 30 frames per second. Its 10-megapixel sensor features standard built-in image stabilization and a maximum 4K bitrate of 30 Mb/s. Its fastest frame rate stops at 60 without the super slow-motion feature.
Then, the HERO7 White is a great companion to any recreational adventure because it is impenetrable to water under 33 feet without a waterproof case. This makes it fit for a hobbyist who wants to get his feet wet. The vertical capture mode is also perfect for social media. Its 10-megapixel sensor can shoot up to 1080p60 video with standard built-in stabilization.
So, what are your thoughts about the HERO7 Black, HERO7 Silver, and HERO7 White? Which one would you buy for this year? Let us know by writing in the comment section below.
