Google Pixel 3 XL: Latest Case Renders Leak As October Release Nears
It is not an overstatement to say that the Google Pixel 3 XL is one of the most highly-awaited smartphones of the year. After its predecessor received a restrained reception from both the buying public and critics, the Pixel 3 XL is Google’s best chance at getting back into the smartphone race currently dominated by Apple and Samsung. Fortunately, recently leaked details about the upcoming device seem to indicate that it may deliver the strongest entry in the Pixel line yet.
Google Pixel 3 XL preview through leaks
New leaked images of the smartphone show a preview of how the Pixel 3 XL will look like when it reaches stores. The images, made up of a pair of the protective case renders, are largely similar to the rumored design that Google is said to be going for.
The renders of the Google Pixel 3 XL show slimmer bezels and a display notch, according to Android Headline. The pictures of the smartphones also indicate that the display screen will have a 19:9 aspect ratio and that a circular fingerprint scanner will be found at the back. Surprisingly, it is becoming apparent that Google is not going to ride the dual-camera trend that engulfs other smartphone makers, sticking instead to single-lens.
A new Google device?
As the rumored October release event of the device nears, reports have floated that the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL is not the only smartphone devices that Google will unveil. However, not much is known about this new device. What is sure is that the Google Pixel 3 XL will be the focus of the event, according to Express. Google may also present updates to the Pixelbook and Pixel Buds in the event.
