Google Pixel 3 Lineup Specs, Release Date, Leaks Detailed: Everything You Need To Know
Google Pixel 3 lineup will be the first to come running Android P right out of the box, which will be shipping later this year. The big tech company is already pushing the Google Assistant integration to be more prominent in the upcoming processor. This led to many suspected details that the company might be making some critical improvements for the highly anticipated lineup this year.
In terms of specification, the Google Pixel 2 features a 5-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920 pixels by 1080 pixels. However, the Pixel 2 XL has a slightly more washed-out 6-inch pOLED display with a resolution of 2880 pixels by 1440 pixels. So, the company might join the trend for flagships to have slimmer bezels all around and include a display notch on the upcoming Pixel 3 lineup.
Under the hood, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 SoC processors might be powering the Google Pixel 3 lineup since the company would go with a different chipmaker. To recall, the hottest chipset Snapdragon 835 on the market was used for Pixel 2 last year paired with 4GB of RAM onboard. The company is speculated to utilize at least 6GB of RAM to get ahead with the latest flagships such as the recently announced Samsung Galaxy S9+.
On the photography department, the Google Pixel 2 camera became the most celebrated feature because of its excellent overall shooting performance even though it is the only one rear camera compared to other flagships having two cameras. The device supports the Pixel Visual Core that is the company’s first custom imaging chip to improve the image quality using the HDR+ technology in third-party apps such as Instagram. No wonder the Pixel 3 will also be offering better image quality.
According to Hot Hardware, the release dates are still not confirmed but if the big tech company Google will stick to its previous schedules, the first week of October is being eyed for the launching of the Google Pixel 3. Come to think of it, the first original Pixel device was introduced on October 4, 2016, while the Pixel 2 on October 4, 2017.
