Google Pixel 3 and 3 XL Coming This October and It’s Going To Be Amazing - Here’s Why
One of the highly anticipated devices this year is the Google’s Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. So why are these devices considered to be amazing? Well, here’s why. But first, let’s talk about its release date.
Here’s Why It Could Be Launched This October
There are no official announcements given by Google regarding its release date. However, there’s an obvious truth that cannot be denied which is the release dates of the previous models
The 2016 and 2017 models were released on October. So, unless the tech giant decides to switch things up or there could be some sort of problems which could cause a delay, we can expect that the devices will be released in October.
A Major Change In Appearance With The Larger Version
For months, we’ve been hearing that Google will be adopting the notch design similar to the iPhone X for its 2018 Pixel phones. Although there have been some reports indicating that both Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL could have it, the most popular belief is that only the larger version will be having this feature.
In fact, even well-known leakster Steve H. (@OnLeaks) even posted on his Twitter account CAD-based renders and for this year’s Pixel phones. In addition to that, were two 360 ° videos which were also based on the CADs.

There have been “alleged screen protectors” spotted online for this year’s lineup. If those were legit, we can expect that this both phones will feature wider screens.
According to reports, both Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL will be featuring dual module front camera which could challenge the Samsung S9 and Huawei P20 Pro in terms of capturing photos. This also means that greater Portrait Mode shots are on the cards.
As for its rear camera, it will be a single-lens snapper. But don’t be depressed, it will still be powerful.
Less Tapping, More Swiping
With the Android P (Android 9.0) onboard, software navigation will be geared towards more on swiping rather than tapping. Basically, it will be similar to the one found on the iPhone X which features a gesture-based UI.
Another feature of the Android P is the Adaptive Battery. This will intelligently monitor what applications used on a device. In return, it will limit the battery usage of a software that the user doesn’t frequently use.
Another feature that is rumored to come is the Active Edge which is similar to HTC’s Edge Sense. What is Edge Sense? It provides an intuitive way to interact with your HTC phone by simply squeezing its lower sides. With this, the user can launch their favorite app or do certain things.
