How To Jailbreak iOS 10.3 – 10.3.3 Using G0blin
According to Yalu JB, these are steps you have to do to jailbreak you 64-bit devices using G0blin:
Step 1: Connect your 64-bit iOS smartphone to your computer.
Step 2: Start the Cydia Impactor tool. Just in case the users don’t have it yet, they can download it from this link.
Step 3: Afterwards, they will have to download the G0blin version 1 IPA file from the provided link above going to their PC.
Step 4: Drag the G0blin version 1 IPA file onto Impactor’s window to start the sideloading procedure.
Step 5: At this instant, the Impactor will now ask you for your Apple ID credentials. Thus you must have to enter your email and password.
Step 6: Wait for it to finish the installation process and once the sideload procedure is done, the application will appear on the user’s home screen.
Step 7: Users can now disconnect their 64-bit device from their computer.
Step 8: Upon opening the application, it will prompt “Untrusted Developer certificate” error. Consequently, users must head to their phone’s Settings > General > Profiles and Device Management to confirm this app’s certificate first.
Step 9: The users will now have to run the G0blin jailbreak app from their home screen. If it reboots their device or doesn’t work at their very first attempt, they will have to keep retrying for at least 10-15 times.
Step 10: Wait for the app to inject the exploit onto the handset. As soon as it’s done, it will show a message.
Step 11: The users can now run the Cydia from their home screen.
The jailbreak community is indeed making a lot of effort to break through Apple’s security. As a matter of fact, a new jailbreak tool was released under the name G0blin, which was said to be for 64-bit handsets and is compatible with Cydia and Substrate.
According to the latest tech news today, G0blin is the third jailbreak that was released for Apple’s 64-bit handsets that are running on iOS 10.3.x. But then, the interesting and special thing about this jailbreak tool is that it utilizes the same KPP bypass, which was established by Luca Todesco in the Yalu jailbreak. This only means that Cydia and Substrate work with this jailbreak tool.
For some reference, latest tech news today revealed that Cydia is one of the most prevalent alternative launchers for iPhone. Apart from that, it has long been an important part of the iOS jailbreaking scene. Moreover, the major fact is that the G0blin iOS 10.3.3 jailbreak supports both Cydia and Substrate. This suggests that the launch may be fully featured at some point when matched to the prior two launches.
Gobin iOS 10.3.3 Jailbreak Availablity:
As of this moment, the G0blin iOS 10.3.3 jailbreak is only meant for developers as it has only been made accessible as code on GitHub. This is where advanced users can compile the IPA themselves utilizing the Xcode and then install on their iOS devices. Additionally, it’s not released in IPA form because the developer doesn’t consider it as yet suitable for public consumption. With that, it is recommended for the public to wait for the release before going ahead and jailbreaking their device using the said tool.
