UPDATE 7-4-2018:

Apple stops signing iOS 11.2.6. You can no longer downgrade and FutureRestore to iOS 11.1.2.

Original Article:

Apple has already dropped the iOS 11.3 final version to the public. Now, all eyes of jailbreak community are on iOS 11.2.6 jailbreak tool. Several users on iOS 9 and 10 jailbreaks are waiting to see how the iOS 11 jailbreak tool turn out before making the jump. However, it is your final chance and right time if you want to upgrade or downgrade to iOS 11-11.1.2.

In iOS 11.3, a compatible signed SEP is required for FutureRestore that will restore your device to unsigned firmwares (like iOS 11.0-11.1.2). Once iOS 11.3 is the only signed firmware, all FutureRestores to the versions below iOS 11.3 will be shut down permanently. This basically means that users can no more restore their iOS 11 devices to iOS 11.1.2 for a fresh start or alternatively no more upgrading from iOS 9 or iOS 10 jailbreak to iOS 11.0-11.1.2, which is why I said it is very “Last Chance.” iOS 11- 11.1.2 has the working jailbreak tool named Electra by CoolStar but for 11.2.6, unfortunately, till now we have only seen vulnerabilities for the iOS 11.2.6 jailbreak not any working tool.

How FutureStore Works?

If you have blobs stored for iOS 11-11.1.2 and want to jailbreak in future then you can use FutureStore now to upgrade or downgrade to those firmwares, using SEP and baseband from the iOS 11.2.6 IPSW.  It should be noted that all the FutureRestores must be completed before iOS 11.2.6 goes unsigned. You can use the BuildManifest.plist, SEP firmware file, and baseband firmware file from the iOS 11.2.6 IPSW. You are also advised to not to use files from the iOS 11.3 IPSW, and do not use the (–latest-sep –latest-baseband) options in FutureRestore because it may lead to failure in restoring.

Before starting the process, make sure to back up your device and do some research on the steps to follow for your firmware. In next few days, jumping or downgrading to iOS 11.0-11.1.2 will become permanently unworkable. So, if you have your blobs saved, now is the time to act.
