Microsoft’s Foldable Windows 10 Andromeda (Surface Phone) Might Feature New Screen Clipping Experience? Release Date Detailed
The big technology company Microsoft is currently reported to test a new screen clipping experience that might possibly be featured in the long-rumored foldable Andromeda device or the Surface Phone. They are already pushing out and starting builds to the Windows 10 Redstone 5 update, especially the Spring Creators Update is set to launch within this month.
Microsoft is currently more focused on the Windows 10 Spring Creators Update than the Redstone 5. That is the reason why the latter has not many new features but the new “Screen Clipping experience.” Microsoft enthusiast WalkingCat discovered the existence of this certain feature that allows users to draw a shape to a screen snip.
Nowadays, the Windows 10 of Microsoft offers a Snipping Tool app that can be pre-installed and allows all users to create a screenshot of their screen. This app comes with the basic features such as “full-screen capture” and “free-form snip” but does not have some features available in the third-party services.
This Snipping Tool is already presented in the latest version of Windows 10 software and can be more improved using a new UI (Fluent Design), auto-saving support, and so on. The features and the look of the improved version of this existing app have no official information yet. However, reports suggest that Microsoft is trying out a feature that is capable of capturing the screenshot of the right screen, left screen, or both screens.
According to Windows Latest, this new Screen Clipping feature can be used for the multi-monitor setups or the Surface Phone or Andromeda, which may come sooner than expected but no official release date yet. Meanwhile, the Windows 10 Spring Creators Update is already ready to be unveiled this month, and the Redstone 5 will be released this coming fall.
