Electra iOS 11.3.1 Jailbreak: Now Fully Complete, Might Be Offered Via Safari-based JailbreakMe 5.0 experience
CoolStar tapped Niklas B, expressing his interest in offering the Electra iOS 11.3.1 jailbreak via a Safari-based jailbreakMe 5.0 experience. Meanwhile, Pwn20wnd confirmed that the said jailbreak is now fully complete (internally).
There is a probability that the Electra iOS 11.3.1 jailbreak be offered via Safari-based JailbreakMe 5.0 experience. Last June 17, 2018, CoolStar posted at Twitter telling Niklas B (official name is Niklas Baumstark) that he saw Niklas’ WebKit exploit and thought it would be nice if Electra could be distributed using it as a JailbreakMe 5.0.
@_niklasb hey, I saw your webkit exploit and thought it might be cool if Electra could be distributed using it as a JailbreakMe 5.0 🙂

If this would be implemented, then iPhone and iPad users running iOS 11.3.1 can just simply head to a purpose-built Electra website via Safari on the device and have the whole jailbreak process invoked via web. This is return would make things easier rather than having the process to install an IPA file on their device.
So What Are The Chances That This Will Happen?
Right now, things just seem to be an interim conversation between CoolStar and Niklas B regarding a possible collaboration rather than something set in stone. But based on the initial interaction between the two, it seems to be positive.
Niklas B replied with two tweets to CoolStar’s post. The first tweet is him saying that the idea sounds good and warns CoolStar to be aware that different exploitation techniques might be required for pre-gigacage and pre-8/X devices, and then tells him that they can talk about it tomorrow through chatting. The other tweet is him inviting CoolStar to shoot him a DM if he wants to chat.
Electra iOS 11.3.1 Jailbreak Now Fully Complete (Internally)
On other news, Pwn20wnd announced via Twitter last June 19 that the Electra 11.3.1 jailbreak is now fully complete (internally) and that it only needs a stable initial remount code to get it to the public. He then follows it up with another post to clarify things, saying that the jailbreak code was done a few days ago and that now the tool is done.
