Many are looking forward to the tech devices that are set to come this year. Aside from the highly anticipated 2019 iPhones and iPads, there’s also the 2019 Mac Pro and the 31.6-inch Apple 6K3K display.

So what new details do we have this time? Well, this time around, well-known Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has some new interesting things to share about the upcoming Apple display. In addition to that, he also revealed that a new 16 to 16.5-inch MacBook Pro is coming as well.

A New Display Is Coming

According to a report, the 31.6-inch Apple 6k display feature “outstanding picture quality thanks to its adoption of the Mini LED-like backlight design“. As for what the “6K3K” stands for, it refers to the standard 6K resolution of 6,144 x 3,072 pixels which at a 31.6-inch diagonal size and will yield a pixel density of roughly 217 ppi.

When can we expect this to come? At the moment, it is reportedly going to be released along with the Mac Pro. As for the release date, that information is still kept under wraps. The only solid clue we have right now is the release date of the current Mac Pro which debuted at June 2013 and then was released on December 2013.

A New And Larger MacBook Pro Is Coming

Back in 2012, Apple discontinued its 17-inch model. At the moment, the largest MacBook Pro features a 15-inch Retina display with a screen resolution of 2,880-by-1,800 pixels.

But this 2019, Kuo said that the Cupertino-based tech company will upgrade its 13-inch MacBook Pro and may possibly come with 32GB RAM up from max to 16GB. In addition to that, he also said that the next  MacBook Pro will have a screen measuring 16 to 16.5 inches.

As for its release date, it’s also still kept under wraps. Perhaps Apple may do a surprise release like what they did to the 2018 version which came in July.
