Downgrade Toolkit for iOS 11.3.1 Released, Electra Jailbreak To Come 'Within A Few Days'
A group of developers has released an iOS downgrade toolkit for iOS 11.3.1. With this, it’s a strong indication that Electra iOS 11.3.1 jailbreak is not far from now.
The Downgrade Toolkit
The latest downgrade tool was developed by and provided by JailbreakStatus. The tool is aimed for individuals who have iOS 11.3.1 blobs saved, currently running jailbreak firmware below iOS 11.3.1, and those who want to go back to iOS 11.3.1 for the upcoming iOS 11.3.1 Electra jailbreak.
But Wait…Should You Use It?
In case you’re wondering what has this got to do with you or why should you even use it, the answer depends on what iOS your device is on. Well, back in the day, the process of jailbreaking was simple. When Apple releases a new firmware, jailbreak teams would exploit and breach it, and then device owners would take advantage of that release. Users can also freely switch between firmware versions.
But now, things are different. There are too many factors that need to be met for a successful jailbreak.
One of these factors is when Apple stopped signing iOS 11.3.1 following the release of iOS 11.4. Because of this, devices that are on iOS 11.4 or beta versions of iOS 12 couldn’t downgrade to the earlier versions of iOS for jailbreak purposes – especially for Electra’s upcoming jailbreak.
How To Use It?

When Is Electra’s Jailbreak Coming?
There isn’t an exact date given. All we know based on Electra’s Twitter post last July 3, 201,8 is that it will be released within a few days.
So what do you think about this downgrade tool? Is it useful or just a waste of time? If you’ve tried it, were there any issues? We would like to hear from you in the comment section below.
