DJI Cendence S Remote Controller, 3 Upgraded DJI Matrice Camera Drones Are Coming Early 2019?
The leading camera drone maker DJI seems not to idle away its time and is not expected to make an announcement in a Federal Communications Commission (FCC) filing. The company is suddenly moving quickly to push enterprise announcements out. Next year is predicted to be a significant year in the world of photography and videography.
According to DroneDJ, a filing (FCC ID SS3-GL900A1811) just surfaced on FCC and was predicted for the DJI Cendence S Remote Controller. The company has just been reported to submit a rash of FCC filings for its enterprise drone solution. This filing happened right after the filings of the new DJI Matrice 200 V2, 210 V2, and 210 RTK V2. It indicates that a new version of the popular enterprise drone will be released soon. Many speculated that the release date will likely be in the first quarter of 2019.
This means that both the drone and the remote controller will have new versions with improvements in connectivity and functionality. The new versions of the DJI Matrice 200 V2, 210 V2, and 210 RTK V2 are expected with the Matrice lineup first hitting the scene in 2017.
In the filing, the header “Declaration of Similarity” implies minimal changes on the front design of the drones. Most of those changes will focus on the internals. There is a possibility of increased range, processing power, and battery life.
Many avid drone fans hope that the new DJI Cendence S Remote Controller can resolve the issues with the first generation of the Cendence. In the filing, the label of the controller is shown instead of the product images. Unfortunately, it is not a Phantom 5. This controller is expected to launch alongside the upgraded Matrice camera drones.
