Putting an end to all speculations floating around for months, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have finally announced their wedding dates. The couple, who has been in a steady relationship for over four years now, is gearing up to tie the nuptial knot on November 14 and 15. Both of them took to micro-blogging site Twitter to share the great news with their fans and well-wishers.

“With the blessings of our families, it gives us immense joy in sharing that our wedding is set to take place on the 14th and 15th of November, 2018. We thank you for all the love you have showered upon us over the years and seek your blessings as we embark on this incredible journey of love, loyalty, friendship, and togetherness,” read their joint wedding announcement note.

While rumors around their wedding have been swirling around for more than a year now, the couple always remained tight-lipped about their relationship and wedding rumors. Up until now, several media outlets were busy reporting that they would walk down the aisle on 20th November. But the official date is November 14 and 15.

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are considered to be one of the most successful onscreen pairs in the history of Indian cinema. The duo first worked together in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s 2013 film Goliyon Ki Raasleela: Ram-Leela. The movie was a massive hit at the box-office, which heightened Bhansali’s confidence in the couple so much that he immediately signed them for his next historical drama, Bajirao Mastani (2015). Also starring Priyanka Chopra in a prominent role, the movie went on to garner stupendous critical and commercial success.

Deepika and Ranveer were last seen together in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s another historical masterpiece, Padmaavat (2018). The movie, which created a lot of controversies before its release, turned out to be one of the biggest hits of both the actors’ careers.
