Apple could release a cheaper 13-inch MacBook Air in late 2018. The source came from one of the well-known analysts, Ming-Chi Kuo of TF International Securities. If this is true, then fans would only have to wait a few months to get their hands on it.
Regarding what will be its price tag, well, the cheapest 13.3-inch MacBook Air sits at $999. There was no exact price given, but it was speculated that the upcoming cheaper MacBook Air 2018 version could cost less than this.

Kuo also predicted that in the second half of 2018, the Cupertino company will also release new iPad models equipped with Face ID, new Apple Watch models and three new iPhone models (iPhone X 2018, iPhone X Plus 2018, and a 6.1-inch budget iPhone X that will costs around $600 to $700). Regarding the release of the upcoming iPhone models, Kuo predicts that it will be both announced and released in September.

On the other hand, the higher-end 13-inch MacBook Pro (2.3 GHz, 8GB RAM, 128GB PCIe SSD) is now being offered with a price tag of $1,099 for its Space Gray model and $1,149.99 for its Silver.
