Bully 2 Wishlist: 15 Things Fans Would Like To See
Rockstar Games first released Bully on the PlayStation 2 (PS2) platform in 2006. It’s an open world action-adventure video game set within the fictional town of Bullworth. Players control “Jimmy”, a student at Bullworth Academy, and guides him as he rises through the ranks of the school system.
For years, fans have been asking for a sequel to Bully. And seeing what Rockstar did with the Red Dead Redemption 2 (RDR2), the desire for a sequel from the fans only intensified.
With that being said, here are 15 things that fans would like to see in Bully 2.
Better Relationships With Fellow Students
Part of being a student is developing bonds and friendships with your fellow classmates and schoolmates. With Bully 2, we would like to see this feature.
A good example is the Social Links (aka S. Links) in the Persona games. It’s a bond made with another person, and getting to know others strengthens your Personas.
Choose Your Classes
In otome games, players are allowed to choose their classes or what places they want to go (library, gym, etc.) to increase one’s stat. We hope to see this kind of feature on Bully 2 where attending a class will increase the character’s stats.
Okay, so aside from the normal curriculum at school, there should also be extracurricular activities to attend. Think of it as something like a side quest or something close to that.
In Bully, there were various “cliques” or groups. These cliques were Bullies, Nerds, Preppies, Greasers, and Jocks. We want more cliques in Bully 2.
Creating Your Own Cliques
What if Bully 2 will have more cliques but none of the cliques featured are of any interest to you? Well, another way for Rockstar Games to fix this problem is to allow players to create their own cliques and recruit.
Creating Your Own Character In Single Player Mode
In Bully, you play as Jimmy. Sure, he was an interesting character. No doubt about that.
But you know what would make Bully 2 more interesting? An option to create your own character in story mode (this includes the gender). Sure, this could be asking for too much. But still, it would be nice.
A Larger Map
After seeing what Rockstar did to RDR2, we too want Bully 2 have a large map. It should be at least two times larger than the map in Bully.
With Bully 2, we don’t want just one school. We want at least three schools in order to have inter-school competitions.
It would be nice if players can choose how bad or good they want to be in their school life. The rewards or flow of the story will depend on their actions.
We’re not saying combat system of Bully is bad (though some may disagree). We just want a better combat system, just like with every successor of a game.
Of course, we’re not asking for knives, guns, rifles or rocket launchers. We just want the weapons in Bully 2 to be more whacky and creative.
With the GTA series, its story mode came with amazing missions. With the Bully 2, we’re hoping it would feature amazing missions/pranks on its story mode.
Given that we’re expecting Bully 2 to be an open world game just like its predecessor, there should be more mini-games in and out school.
Wouldn’t it be cool to take a screenshot of your achievements or the pranks that you’ve pulled? Yeah, there should be a photo mode.
More Holiday Events
In Bully, the Halloween and Christmas event were for many players the highlights of the game. Hopefully, with Bully 2, there would be more Holiday events.
