BlackBerry Luna 'KEY2 Lite' Coming Second Half Of 2018, Possibly On IFA
Leakster Evan Blass of Venture Beat is at it again with another leak. This time around, it is about the alleged BlackBerry Luna.
According to a Twitter post made by Blass, the BlackBerry Luna which is also known as KEY2 Lite will be launched in this second half of the year – presumably late August or early September. He notes that it could be launched during the upcoming event Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin (IFA) which is scheduled from August 31 to September 5, 2018.

Blass also mentioned that the said device will come in 3 color variants: red, blue and copper, and it will feature a plastic design. Furthermore, as we can see from the photo, it appears that the device features a 2 camera lens and on its side is a circular shape which could possibly be a LED-flash.
How Much Will It Cost?
Regarding its price tag, there are no details yet. However, we can compare it to the standard version, KEY2, which was recently launched last month and costs $649. With this, given that the upcoming model is the “lite version”, we can assume that it could be lower. One report suggest it could probably be around $400.
Rumored Specs & Features
Back in February 2018, the BlackBerry Luna was reported to be a mid-range phone which aims to focus on the quality-price ratio. It was also reported to come with a physical QWERTY keyboard and that it should correspond to the model number BBE100-1.
As for its screen size, it’s also expected to feature the same 4.5-inch display found on the standard version. However, for its processor, RAM, display resolution and internal memory, it’s rumored to feature inferior specs.
