The most popular reality show on Indian television, Bigg Boss, is just a few days away from beaming its latest season on Colors. Diehard fans of the show are excited like a child and are keeping a tab on every detail related to the controversial show. After host Salman Khan launched the latest season yesterday in Goa, the focus has now shifted a little bit from who is coming on to show to who is getting how much moolah to appear on Bigg Boss 12.

One of the high profile celebrities who is expected to enter the glass-walled house is television’s favorite daughter-in-law Dipika Kakar. Though her name has not been announced officially as yet, insiders reveal that she is indeed a part of the latest season. The latest update on her is that Kakar is being offered more amount than her counterpart Hina Khan who graced the show in its 11th season last year. According to reports, Dipika is being offered a humongous amount of ₹ 14-16 lakh per week, whereas Hina Khan was paid somewhere around ₹ 7-8 lakh a week.

As we can see, this is double the amount what Hina Khan took home last season. A source close to the show also spilled the beans that Dipika was not very keen to come onboard Bigg Boss 12. Even after being approached several times by the makers, she did not nod a yes. However, when the makers increased the amount for her stay inside the show, the actress could not say no to the lucrative offer.

As of now, only comedian Bharti Singh and her husband Harsh Limbachiyaa’s names have been announced as the first contestants on Bigg Boss 12. Besides them, the top names that are expected to appear on the show this season are Dipika Kakar, Srishty Rode, Devoleena Bhattacharjee, Ridhima Pandit, Shaleen Bhanot, and Neha Pendse among others. Bigg Boss 12 premieres on 16th September on Colors.
