AppSync Unified Suitable Up To iOS 11.3.1 Jailbreak Now Available
Developer Karen Tsai who’s well-known with her online name angelXwind has updated the AppSync Unified package. This tweak is now on its version 24.0 and is ready for download on jailbroken handsets.
The said AppSync Unified update now offers compatibility on the liberated handsets up to the upcoming iOS 11.3.1 Electra jailbreak. As a matter of fact, this was confirmed by the release notes:
Confirmed compatibility with all supported iOS versions up to iOS 11.3.1.
Artificially bumped version number to 24.0 to override all known third-party modifications of AppSync Unified available from piracy repos that will cause damage to your iOS installation. Please DO NOT use AppSync Unified for piracy.
Aside from carrying the complete support up to iOS 11.3.1 jailbreak, AppSync Unified developer angelXwind has also, artificially bounced the version from 9.0 to 24.0. This is to be able to “override all known third-party modifications of AppSync Unified” which are accessible through non-official sources and would otherwise cause clashes and problems with the official version of the said tweak.
It is worth mentioning that this has been a persistent difficulty for Tsai. In fact, she has been determinedly making efforts to prevent others from distributing the package on any repositories and endorsing the use of the AppSync Unified package for piracy in the jailbreak community.
Similar to other versions before the version 24.0 of AppSync Unified, the newest update comes with the typical “this is not for piracy” warning. This is to try informing the users that the package is for “freedom of iOS development with the official Xcode iOS SDK” and is not meant for installing cracked applications or games.
In case you’re one of those who needs the AppSync Unified for non-despicable purposes, then you’re lucky that it’s already available now. Meanwhile, for those who are waiting for the iOS 11.3.1 Electra jailbreak, there’s no definite date of release but it appears that the toolkit’s launch is just around the corner. Always stay tuned!
