Apple's New Mac Pro 2019, Rumors and Everything We Know
The significance of the Mac Pro in the Apple line has been the subject of many rumors and speculations around the community for the last couple of months. Its no surprise as this is one of the most powerful computing machines in the Apple lineup. With news suggesting that it will have a big entrance next year, we are here to provide you with everything we know about the new Mac Pro 2019.
Many fans got a disappointing WWDC 2018 event when the company never revealed any new updates or discussed any future plans for their Apple’s devices. This greatly affected the reputation of all the Mac computer lines especially the Mac Pro.
According to Ming-Chi Kuo, a known person that provides tips and hints for incoming Apple devices, the company is currently working to get all things sorted out for the refresh of all the Mac line up. The refresh will include a rework on the company’s Mac Mini line, MacBooks, and a possible Mac Pro. The only thing that we could think of is when will it happen?
It turns out, the Mac Pro will have its appearance this 2019 and it has been confirmed already by Apple itself in an interview with TechCrunch. They stated that “we want to be transparent and communicate openly with our pro community, so we want them to know that the Mac Pro is a 2019 product. It’s not something for this year.”
Price details for the new Mac Pro 2019 are still not yet known. For now, we can make an assumption that the new Mac Pro will be priced closely to where the current Mac Pro sits. Just make sure to give some room for extras in case Apple decided to upgrade its internals to the latest equipment they can fit inside.
According to the statement that they issued last December of 2017, the company mentioned that “Apple is working on a completely redesigned, next-generation Mac Pro architected for pro customers who need the highest performance, high-throughput system in a modular, upgradeable design.” This was made during the announcement of the new iMac Pro. With these details, we can safely assume that the new Mac Pro can be configured based on the user’s needs.
Another notable future for the Mac Pro 2019 would be the arrival of the Kalamata Initiative, which points to the usage of the in-house chipset with Apple’s very own technology. This move by the company will most likely to go on full implementation by 2020 and we will not be surprised if the Mac Pro 2019 will be part of the early testing stage of the Kalamata Initiative.
Cool Addition If Possible
Many Mac Pro users will definitely have wish lists for the new Mac Pro 2019 model. We compiled some of the noticeable features fans wanted to get on their new computing machine.
Storage is one of the issues that many Mac Pro users face. With the possibility of an upgradable system, many Pro users would definitely love expanding their options for getting internal storage in the Mac Pro. Another aspect where they can improve is within the processor. Currently, we see the Mac Pro power through heavy tasks with its 16 Core setup and t would be interesting to see if Apple packs the Mac Pro 2019 with a 32 Core processor which makes it more like a beast.
Lastly, many Pro users would like to get the whole package complete with Mac Pro’s Magic Keyboard and Magic Mouse. As we all remember, the previous Mac Pro back in 2013 was shipped without its essential peripherals. Hopefully, we’ll get to see the mouse and keyboards included as a bundle package.
