When Is The Next Apple Event? and What To Expect?
The September event is finally over. With this, fans are now left wondering about when is the next event from Apple.
So When Is The Next Event?
According to Mac World, the next event could be this October. Why? Well, although there wasn’t a follow-up event last year and in 2015, there was an event on 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2016. So for the most part we can assume that the chances of an event happening next month are higher.
What To Expect
Assuming that there will be an event this October, then what could be the gadgets presented there? Well, back in 2013, the Cupertino-based tech company presented the iPad Air, a new iPad Mini 5 and updated the MacBook Pro. The following year was the iPad Air 2 and iMac. Finally, in 2016, a new MacBook Pro with the Touch Bard was unveiled.
So with this and based on the previous reports about the rumored upcoming devices for 2018, we can assume that the iPad Pro 3 and a 13-inch low-cost MacBook (or MacBook Air 2018) with retina display. There’s also the Mac Mini 2018.
With the iPad Pro 3, two variants are said to come; 10.5/11-inch (depending on which rumor you choose to believe) and 12.9-inch. It is expected to feature Face ID, four speakers, TrueDepth front-facing camera, better bokeh effects, and tiny bezels. It is also reported to feature a design similar to the iPhone X so there won’t be any physical home button. Furthermore, it will be armed with an A11X Bionic chipset.
For the 13-inch low-cost MacBook, recent reports suggest that it will feature a Touch ID fingerprint scanner and be packed with the latest Kaby Lake or Amber Lake chips. There were also talks about an “ultrathin” MacBook coming which could possibly be this laptop but take it with a pinch of salt.
For the Mac Mini 2018, its last release was way back in October of 2014. This device reportedly going to feature an improved processor and more plentiful storage options. Aside from that, there will also be changes in its size.
