Expected Product Launches
During the Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference, many are anticipating the following products to take the center stage:
iPhone SE 2
There were talks suggesting that then iPhone SE2 production has not yet begun and Apple might release the said device in the third quarter. But despite that, during the Apple WWDC 2018, tech enthusiasts are hoping to hear about some development regarding the iPhone SE2. There are lean chances that the tech giant will reveal it during the event, but there’s a possibility that the fans can hear updates about it.
There are reasonable chances for Apple to turn up with a refreshed HomePod. Though the first-gen HomePod is yet to hit the market shelves, Apple might have started working on the subsequent version by this time. Aside from that, there were reports hinting that Apple might collaborate with Beats and release a cheaper variant of HomePod.
The MacBook Air was refreshed in March 2015 and this made the possibility for Apple to introduce a new member of the MacBook Air family. Some reports are suggesting that the Cupertino-based company is working on a new 13-inch laptop, which will be an upgrade over the present MacBook Air lineup.
Apple has previously launched an advertising campaign of sorts for its much-owned virtual assistant, Siri. When the users ask Siri about the WWDC, she hints on predictable announcements that the fans might get to see during the event. As a matter of fact, in one of her teasers, Siri also stated: “La la la, Siri is getting a brand-new voice!” and “I’m getting a lot smarter.” These teasers only suggest that Apple will be overhauling Siri. Aside from that, the voice assistant may also get the capability to recognize owner’s voice through the use of personalized “Hey, Siri” wake phrase.
iOS 12, macOS, watchOS and tvOS New Versions
Tech pundits are also expecting that the company will introduce new versions of the iOS, macOS, watchOS, and tvOS during the Apple WWDC 2018. Allegedly, Apple has developed some major modifications in store for its operating systems. It is expected to launch cross-platform universal applications that will function impeccably with all its operating systems. The iOS 12 is anticipated to flaunt new features like Animoji for FaceTime, multi-user support for augmented reality games, improved Do Not Disturb, and a lot more.
New iPad Pro
Apple is allegedly working on a new roster for iPad Pro. Rumors suggest that the upcoming device will make an appearance during the this year’s Developers Conference and will flaunt features like Face ID and an 8-core Apple A11X processor. There are no details about the possibility of integrating a notch design to the device. The new iPad Pro may arrive in 11-inch and 12.9-inch screen sizes.
