Apple iPhone 2019: Release Date, Features, Specs, And Wishlist
The tech giant Apple just recently launched the iPhone XS and XS Max. The XS was predicted to be an “S” model phone. It took the major design and features of the previous year with improved performance and camera quality. The company is expected to go further on the next device.
According to Pocket-lint, the company is pretty much known in using sequential numbers for their iPhones. However, that has changed last year when the company introduced the current iPhone X. Then, this year’s models have an “S” and an “R” to the X branding. Even if there is no sure way to determine the name, many are guessing that the next device will be called iPhone XI or iPhone X2 or back to iPhone 11.
In terms of specification, the iPhone 2019 might get its design from the current iPhone XS. However, a reduced notch or no notch at all with software to hide the notch would be better. Other features probably on board will be FaceID, a premium build quality, waterproofing, glass and metal materials, a slightly higher resolution on the OLED displays, and a high screen-to-body ratio like the current models.
Under its hood, the A13 chipset will come with improvements and advancements. The iOS 13 will be previewed at the company’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2019 and will likely be offered on this upcoming device. Then, an Apple Pencil would be great to pair this device. The company is already considering a Pencil-type Stylus.
In the photography department, the well-known tech analyst Ming-Chi Kuo claimed that the upcoming iPhone 2019 will offer a new flood illuminator to help with the impact light from the environment. For the rear camera, the company is reportedly working on a three-dimensional sensor that could lead to an augmented reality device.
There is no official release date yet, but it will likely be at the end of August 2019. Traditionally, the company holds its iPhone event usually Tuesday in the second week of September. The next launch event is predicted to take place on the 10 September 2019.
