Apple AirPods 2: What To Expect and What We Would Like To See
The Apple AirPods 2 is no doubt an amazing device and is reportedly coming next year – presumably on 2019 of March. We’ve heard rumors about its specs and features and we’re happy to say that it does seem promising at best. However, despite that, there are still some things that we would like to see incorporated in the upcoming earpiece.
Here’s What To Expect
According to reports, the device is said to come with an upgraded wireless chip – W2. The chip is said to the very same chip found on the Apple Watch Series 3 which in return will give it 85 percent faster Wi-Fi, and 50 percent more power-efficient Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
AirPods 2 is also said to come with Siri features where users will have to tap on the device to or just say the magic words, “Hey Siri” to activate the virtual assistant. In addition to that are noise cancellation, wireless charging, and biometric sensors for heart-rate.
Although the currently available model has somewhat a water resistance feature, there hasn’t been any official rating just yet. But for the upcoming version, it will have a water resistant feature to protect it against rain and perspiration.
What Fans Would Like To See
More Color Options
The iPhones are offered in many different colors, so why not the AirPods 2? Just try to imagine matching the color of your iPhone (or whatever Apple device you’re sporting) with the earpiece. Wouldn’t it be cool to see a red AirPods 2?
More Touch Controls And Sensitivity
There has been an outcry from some users for more touch controls to the stem of the device, like swiping up/down for volume or changing tracks on another one. There’s also the tapping to activate the device where sometimes you will need to tap hard enough for it to work which aside from being annoying can also hurt your ears.
More Battery Life Please!
The current model can go up to 3 hours which is cool. But we believe that the Cupertino-based tech company can push this even further.
