Apple 12.9-inch iPad Pro 3: Leaked Case Design From UAG, Price, Release Date, Specs and Features
Expected to be launched this month by Apple is the iPad Pro 3 (aka iPad Pro 2018). This time around, Mysmartprice shared an image of what described as an upcoming case for the 12.9-inch iPad Pro 3 from accessory maker UAG. In addition to this are the rumored specs and features.
As reported by Mysmartprice, the image for the 12.9-inch iPad Pro 3 features a UAG case which helps the said tablet rest in a laptop-like position. You can also see that it has a dedicated slot to store the Apple Pencil.
Looking at its screen, it goes in line with the rumors. It has been rumored for months now that the 2018 iPad Pro will feature an all-screen design similar to the iPhone X, but it won’t feature a notch.
Apple is expected to release two screen sizes for the iPad Pro 3 – 12.9 inches and 10.5/11 inches. But for this article, we’ll be focusing on the 12.9-inch version.
Although last week it was reported that the upcoming tablet will feature the same screen resolution on its 2017 version, it was also reported to feature 4K HDR video output. This was discovered in the iOS 12.1 beta.
At the back, it will feature a 13MP camera with Digital Zoom, Auto Flash, Face detection, Touch to focus support. At the front, is an 8MP selfie shooter. Other camera features include High Dynamic Range mode (HDR) and Exposure compensation.
It will come with an Apple A10X Fusion chip, USB Type-C and Face ID. There was also a rumor that it won’t feature a headphone jack.
When Is It Coming?
Initially, it was expected to be released last June because last year’s models were released in June of 2017. This time around, reports are expecting Apple to launch it this month.
How Much Will It Cost?
The 12.9-inch version is expected to cost INR 64,999. This roughly translates to $885 USD.
