AMD Radeon Software Adrenalin Edition: Most Vital Driver Ever
AMD has launched its biggest and most vital driver releases ever. The recently rolled out “Radeon Software Adrenalin Edition” presents an all-new in-game overlay along with Companion Mobile App.
AMD Radeon Software Adrenalin Edition Features
According to NDTV Gadgets, AMD Radeon Software Adrenalin Edition shows performance information such as the present performance in frames per second, CPU, GPU and RAM usage. It also indicates temperature, power consumption and fan speed for the GPU. Apart from that, users will also be capable of adjusting per-game Radeon settings such as Freesync and Target Frame Rate Control, and make color modifications.
Apart from that, it also brings a companion app called AMD Link for iOS and Android, which can be coupled with multiple gaming PCs. It will indicate the similar information in real-time, as graphs or as absolute numbers. Users can activate screenshots, start streaming, and modify settings utilizing their smartphones as a second screen.
Radeon ReLive Streaming Tool
Additionally, Trending Viral has learned that the Radeon ReLive streaming tool, which was featured as last year’s big driver release, also obtained several feature updates. With the said upgrade, a new Gallery tab within the Radeon Settings software will allow the users to quickly manage their social media accounts and select what to share with just one tick.
The video clips and screenshots can be edited quickly before sharing. Also, ReLive now has support for chroma keying for webcams. With this, the users can overlay just their heads in a stream deprived of any disturbing background. Meanwhile, the audio tracks for commentary can be recorded independently and leveled. In addition, the social media chat streams can be embedded as well.
The American GPU maker claims that ReLive’s performance impact has been concentrated to near insignificant levels in a lot of games. It can now function with games utilizing the Vulkan graphics API. Also, the users can now capture across several monitors or even pick regions of a screen to capture rather than the whole thing.
Radeon Chill Tool
Moreover, the Radeon Chill tool, which dynamically controls frame rates to save power, has been upgraded to function with all games. According to AMD, there are no key malfunctions or performance mislays in any games. Nevertheless, it can disable the feature for particular titles if difficulties are identified. The feature is still opt-in, apart from the special edition of the driver software for gaming cafes which prioritizes power savings.
In other various enhancements, the Radeon GPU users will be capable of creating and sharing profiles for the WattMan power management. They can also use the overclocking tool, change the color scheme of the main Radeon Settings interface, and shift to a compute workload profile that enhances the performance of tasks such as cryptocurrency mining by 15 percent.
Obviously, there are also performance enhancements in games. Nonetheless, AMD stated that the users must not focus on this as advances are rolled out constantly and it never held in reserve some huge releases.
