5 Things We Hope To See On The Upcoming Apple MacBooks
One of the highly anticipated tech devices this year are the other Apple MacBook laptops that have yet to be released. In fact, back in July, a report was made claiming that 5 new MacBook models were spotted on the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) and are reportedly scheduled to come either on September or October.
Given that we’re already expecting these devices to come, there are however a few things that fans would like to see done on the devices. What are these things?
Give It A $999 Starting Price
Apple isn’t known for its budget-friendly price tag. Sure, it has its MacBook Air that’s currently available for under $999. But when was this last updated? It’s been years. Plus, the specs and features on this device are a bit outdated.
There’s also the entry level 13-inch MacBook Pro. Its price starts at $1,299.
Now, if we compare it to laptops from other companies, well, the prices are more desirable. Take for example the Chromebooks which are priced between $399 and $499. Another is the Inspiron 13 from Dell which starts at $829.99.
The Latest Keyboard
The MacBook Pro comes with features a keyboard that can block crumbs and dust. It would be really cool if the upcoming laptops will come with this feature.
More Ports Please!
Just more ports. You know, the kind of laptop that’s flexible with any port thrown at it – USB-A, USB-C, HDMI and etc. It would also be nice there’s a microSD slot.
No More Low-Resolution Screens
Nowadays, the 4K display is becoming the norm. Whether it’s a high-priced or budget-priced device, it should at least come with 4K or something close to that.
Windows laptops have a touchscreen feature, while Apple has the Touch Bar on its MacBook Pro. Future MacBooks should at least have a touchscreen feature.
