World's Thinnest LED TV Dubbed As Mi TV 4 With 55-inch 4K Display Launched
Xiaomi on Wednesday launched World’s Thinnest LED TV in India dubbed as Mi TV 4, alongside the Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro. The thickness of Mi TV 4 is just 4.9mm. The Mi TV series was originally unveiled at CES 2017 and went on sale in China in June last year. It should be noted that Xiaomi is calling World’s Thinnest LED TV as the Mi LED TV 4 (55) in India.
The Mi TV 4 features an ultra-thin design, which is almost frameless. The screen size of the TV is 55-inch. The World’s Thinnest LED TV is capable of displaying 4K HDR content. The Mi TV 4 is the smart TV that has 3x HDMI (1 ARC) ports and along with USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 port.
The Mi TV 4 sports HDR and Dolby+ DTS sound. World’s Thinnest LED TV also has an Amlogic 64-bit quad-core processor with Mali T-830 graphics. It comes with 2 GB of RAM, and 8 GB of onboard storage. Mi TV 4 supports the 802.11ac WiFi and Bluetooth 4.0.
Xiaomi has also promised over 500,000 hours of content in the Mi TV 4 across 15 Indic languages, out of which 80 percent will be free content. World’s thinnest TV will cost Rs. 39,999 in India.
The 11-button Mi Remote, which will come bundled with the Mi TV 4, can be used to control a set-top box apart from the television itself. World’s Thinnest LED TV; Mi TV 4 will be available for sale starting from 22 February on Flipkart and Mi.com.
