ElectraTV tvOS 11.2 - 11.3 Jailbreak Has Been Released
After the Electra jailbreak for iOS 11.2 – iOS 11.3.1 has been released, Electra’s team has also released the electraTV tvOS 11.2 – 11.3.1 jailbreak. The credit goes to famous hackers Justin Williams and @nitotv, who helped in the said endeavor.
The tvOS hugely shares a similar codebase as the iOS. So, it did not come as a surprise that there is already a working jailbreak suitable for the tvOS 11.2 – 11.3.1 after an outstanding iOS 11.3 jailbreak.
The ElectraTV tvOS jailbreak is adaptable with the 4th and 5th gen Apple TV that operates on the tvOS 11.2 – tvOS 11.3.1. Users who are making use of a higher OS version will not benefit from the said jailbreak because it will not perform on the streaming box.

For the time being, the most recent tvOS release that can be jailbroken was the tvOS 11.1 using the LibreTV tool. But jailbreaking an Apple TV does not provide the same range of advantages as when users jailbreak their respective iPhones.
Although there are numerous Cydia tweaks that are currently accessible for a jailbroken iOS 11, it is not the same for tvOS. This is because it amply restricts the versatility and practicality of jailbreaking an Apple TV.
The recent Electra Jailbreak backs the iOS 11.2 – iOS 11.3.1 and 11.4b1 – iOS 11.4b3. This is for all gadgets and devices that can be operated on for the mentioned firmware. The new jailbreak similarly supports tvOS 11.2 – tvOS 11.3.
Users who are intent in jailbreaking their Apple TV 4 or Apple TV 4K can check out Electra’s official website to download the required tools. The additional Apple TV support comes along with a recent ElectraTV 1.0.4 version.
Compared to the iOS version of Electra, the tvOS adaptation based on Ian Beer’s VFS bug only comes in the on-developer version. The reason behind this is that the dependable multi-path bug does not operate in any way on tvOS.
However, this will not matter greatly for the end user because not only will it make things more simple – as there is only one variant of the tool. Another good thing about it is that it’s free.
