Leaked: List Of 2018 Smartphones Featuring Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC
A big news has made its way to the gadget world. As per the latest tech news today, some of the most-awaited Android smartphones releasing in 2018 will be featuring Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC. A recent leak online has revealed the list of upcoming smartphones that will be having the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset.
GSMArena reported that Samsung is all set to release the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 plus in the month of February next year. The latest series will be featuring the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset. Next up in April is the Xiaomi Mi 7 that will be soon followed by the HTC U12 releasing in May- both of which will pack the Snapdragon 845 chipsets.

The latest tech news today revealed that ZTE nubia Z18, Sony Xperia XZ Pro-A, and OnePlus 6, releasing in June will also pack the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC. Coming next in line are the Samsung Galaxy Note 9, Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 and LG V40 to hit the market in September. Reportedly, “October is the month when the Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL get announced, but also the nubia Z18S and Sony Xperia XZ2 and HTC U12+”. All these upcoming handsets will be equipped with 845.
About Qualcomm Snapdragon 845
According to the Verge, Snapdragon 845 will be an improved version of its predecessor 835. The Snapdragon 845 will be seen equipped with many smartphones in 2018, delivering better performance and improved power efficiency. Much like its predecessor, the Snapdragon 845 will also be featuring a 10nm manufacturing process.
The Snapdragon 845 features eight cores with ARM A75 and ARM A55 cores. While the A75 cores “will run at a clock speed of up to 2.8GHz, the four power-efficient A55 cores will run at a speed of up to 1.8GHz”. It will also be equipped with the new Qualcomm Adreno 630 visual processing subsystem.
