OnePlus 6 Release Date, Price, Specs, Features: Everything We Know So Far!
OnePlus has recently launched OnePlus 5T Sandstone and Lava Red edition. However, the rumors regarding its upcoming flagship OnePlus 6 are rife. The upcoming edition of OnePlus is expected to hit the market shelves around March this year.
OnePlus 6 is rumored to feature an 18:9 display similar to the one found on the OnePlus 5T, as noted by India Today. The flagship from OnePlus will have a similar full-panel display, with the selfie camera using infrared depth mapping to perform 3d recognition of your face. The device is expected to boast a facial unlock feature as well.
According to the Mirror, the OnePlus 6 will be running on the newly launched Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. The fingerprint sensor in the upcoming device is said to move to the rear side in order to make room for an all-screen front display. Several reports also suggest that the OnePlus might embed the fingerprint under the screen. This means the sensor could ‘easily be installed on the front without having to sacrifice the full-screen design.’
Ever since the OnePlus 3, the Chinese tech giant OnePlus has followed a six-month upgrade cycle that has both angered and pleased its user base. Last year as well, the company followed the OnePlus 5 with the OnePlus 5T that improved upon it in a few key areas.
According to GizmoChina, the OnePlus 6 is rumored to get a release in March 2018. The report cites an anonymous source that says: “The launch is said to be sometime in the middle of March, with the phone becoming available by the end of the month.”
The price for the OnePlus 6 remains to be unclear. OnePlus 5t is currently priced around $634, so speculations are rife that the upcoming OnePlus 6 will have a bit higher price tag.
