Xiaomi Mi A2 aka Mi 6X Latest Leak Reveals Dual Camera, Snapdragon 626, Android Oreo and More Specs [Rumor]
Xiaomi is a popular brand among Indian millennials. A feature-rich phone in an economical price, Xiaomi has emerged as a good-to-go option for users. And, the much coveted Mi A2, features leaked online during last week.
According to the recently leaked snapshot by BestUnderr, the Xiaomi Mi A2 will boast a 5.99-inch FHD+ display (2160×1080) with an 18:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, Mi A2, which is also known as the Mi 6X is going to sport a Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 processor with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB internal memory that will be further expandable to the 128GB through microSD card. The device will come running Android 8.1 Oreo right out of the box.
Going forward with the trend of dual camera set up, the upcoming Mi A2 will have a 20-megapixel sensor and 8-megapixel view at the rear. For a power-packed performance with above-mentioned features, the device will have a 2910 mAh battery. Leaks further suggest that successor of Mi A1 will retain Hybrid SIM setup.
The design of the Mi A2 is said to be similar to that of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, which is launched as the Redmi Note 5 in the Chinese market. Moreover, the leak shows that Mi A2 will be 7.3mm thick and 165mm tall, which is a bit different from last week’s TENAA listing that noted the dimensions as 158.88×75.54×7.3mm. It should be noted that there is no way to know the authenticity of the latest leak so it is advised take this with a handful of salt.
Xiaomi Mi A2 Release Date
Xiaomi is going to launch the Mi 6X exclusively in the Chinese market, while internationally the smartphone will likely be called the Mi A2. If we focus on the regularity of leaks floating online, Mi A2 likely shows up at around the middle of this year. Speculators are merging the fact that Mi A1 was released in September 2017. Therefore, an earlier release should be on the cards for Xiaomi Mi A2.
