A lot of rumors about the Microsoft Surface Phone are surfacing online. Recently, the first “Andromeda OS” game has been revealed which seems to be an indication that the much-awaited device’s release is getting near.

MSPoweruser stated in its report last week that the newest Windows 10 SDK made reference to the so-called Factory OS Andromeda device. Currently, an unreleased first-party Windows 10 video game has surfaced which also seems to be intended to run on a gadget with that operating system.

For some reference, Miami Heat is a racer that was created by Electric Square and Microsoft Studios that is intended for touchscreen PCs. The said video game has been rumored as “Forza Kart”, signifying a meeker version of that racing simulator. Additionally, it has an age rating starting at 3 years and is unlikely to be the most difficult video game in the world.

The more interesting report came from Windows Central revealing an application package metadata stating the video game is aiming for the Windows 10 PC and the “Andromeda OS”, the shell planned for Microsoft’s dual-screened tablet or smartphone hybrid.

The video game description is as follows:

We’ve got some exciting news to share. We proudly announce Miami Street, a project that Electric Square has been working on with our partners at Microsoft Studios. Developed to be played on any Windows 10 device, Miami Street is a new kind of racing game, built for a broad audience who love easy to pick-up-and-play experiences. As we continue the development of Miami Street in the months ahead, we will begin releasing the game in limited regions for testing and player feedback.

More significant than the video game, of course, is that it seems that the Redmond-based company is creating content especially for its new operating system. This also suggests that the Microsoft Surface Phone release seems to be just around the corner.

Do you think this video game running on “Andromeda OS” is really intended for Microsoft Surface Phone? Please share your thoughts with us in the comment section below!
