iPhone X Plus and iPhone 9: Latest Schematics Getting More Accurate – Release Date and Pricing Detailed
The tech giant Apple is expected to line up a handful of new iPhones to be released next year, including iPhone 9 and iPhone X Plus. Rather detailed schematics just got leaked online providing several details of their dimensions and designs.
According to Wccftech, the schematics originated from the case manufacturer Ghostek and confirmed what could possibly expect from the company. In the image, the iPhone X Plus will measure 157.2 x 77.1 millimeters with an edge-to-edge display, a dual camera setup, and a similar form factor to the current $1000 iPhone X. This greatly indicates the upcoming device will be an iterative upgrade of the predecessor.
The more interesting one is of that highly-anticipated iPhone 9 because of its dimensions are 147 x 71.5 millimeters, making it a mid phone between the existing iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus. It also appears to have a wider form factor and a thinner speaker grille. Once released, it will come with the first-generation Face ID technology, not Touch ID anymore, while the other one will have a second-generation version of it.
However, if you compare his schematic from the one that came from the highly reliable source Steve Hemmerstoffer of the French publication NoWhereElse. The device will have 150.9 x 76.5 x 8.3 millimeters, making the differences highly significant. It seems that the older one is more credible.
Even if the schematics looked accurate, there is still higher chance that things will still continue to change ahead of the launch, most likely this September. With pricing, the iPhone X Plus will not be cheap since it is the plus-sized model of the current iPhone X. It will possibly start at a price of £1150.
