iPhone SE 2 Specs, Release Date, Leaks: Budget iPhone 2018 Might be Manufactured Exclusively in India
The highly anticipated iPhone SE 2 might be manufactured first exclusively in India even though the big tech giant Apple still remained silent about it. In the latest rumor of its manufacturing schedule, the device is going to enter mass production but this setup is still uncertain to push through.
To recall, the tech giant Apple had already made ties last year to do the domestic partnership with Indian manufacturers. A sizeable part of the total number of the current iPhone SE units was made in India with the vastness of orders coming from China. Back in 2016, the original model was unveiled with a 4-inch display similar to the iPhone 5S.
If ever the company Apple wants to give a go signal to do an exclusive manufacturing in India, then the setup would be valid. They had also established a good rapport with their manufacturing partners in China like Pegatron and Foxconn. For this reason, finding another partner to export their new products all over the world will not be necessary.
Many are speculating that the iPhone SE2 will be introduced sometime this year. The said device will offer wireless charging technology with its glass back even if this is quite questionable. If ever any major hardware updates will be featured in this upcoming device, these would be limited since the cost must be maintained in a budget-friendly way for the customers.
The A11 Fusion chipset is among the rumored changes for the iPhone SE 2 and is the current processor used and gave power to the iPhone 8, which was released September 2017 with a 4.7-inch LED-backlit touchscreen display. The iPhone SE2 will also sport 3D Touch and Face ID system making its price exceed the expected $300-$400 range.
