iOS 11.3.1 Electra Jailbreak Tool Development Already Finished; Public Release Expected Soon
CoolStar is really doubling its effort to deliver the latest update to its Electra iOS 11.3.1 jailbreak tool. As a result of the team’s hard work, the iOS 11.3.1 jailbreak’s development is already done and public rollout is anticipated to occur soon.
It wasn’t a long time ago when the Project Zero security researcher Ian Beer disclosed only a few of convenient exploits for some of the newest versions of the iOS 11. But now, with the CoolStar’s effort, the Electra iOS 11.3.1 jailbreak tool might be on its way to support these specific software versions.
Even though the official Electra web page isn’t updated with the newest version of the toolkit as of this moment, the Electra Team still continues to upgrade the jailbreak community with development. It can be recalled that the team first noted that it has accomplished a fully-operational jailbreak for the iOS 11.2-11.2.6 on June 11th. After that, the next major announcement regarding the fully-operational jailbreak toolkit for iOS 11.3.1 was posted on Electra Team’s Twitter account early today.
It is worth mentioning that the week-long postponement between these two was supposedly associated with the rootfs remount issue. Luckily, CoolStar Team was able to find a way around it.

For the meantime, the CoolStar is certainly positioning its iOS 11.3.1 Electra jailbreak tool on the handsets with different firmware combinations. This is to test the toolkit’s stability before releasing it to the public.
