Google Pixel 3, Pixel 3 XL – Everything We Know Ahead Its October Launch
The tech company Google is expected to follow its usual launch schedule for the long-rumored Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. Many rumors hint that the release date for the devices will be within the next few months, possibly this coming October.
A photo just got leaked from XDA Developers via a forum user named “dr.guru.” This leaked photo shows high-quality hands-on handset in the clear white color variant. This handset in this photo is claimed to be the upcoming Google Pixel 3 XL.
In the photo, the dual or triple camera setup seemed to be not visible for the two upcoming smartphones and will likely stick to a single camera. This will not cause any trouble though because the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL got the brilliant and best single-camera setup in the industry.
When it comes to design, the Pixel 3 will have the regular design like the Pixel 2 with thick bezels all around the display, while the bigger model got some major design changes on the front with slimmer bezels. Both handsets will be among the first devices to come running with the latest operating system Android P.
The first handset will feature a 5.4-inch OLED display and the bigger model a 6.2-inch OLED display with an aspect ratio of 19:9. Both are speculated to have a glass back cover like the latest iPhones to support wireless charging. Qualcomm’s latest chipset Snapdragon 845 processor will be inside them.

If the company pursues on the same launch timeline as its previous Pixel generations—the Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL—the expected release date for the Pixel successors will be around October 4 with a starting price of $649 for the first handset and around $849 for the bigger model. Just so you will know, the predecessors were significantly the official Android phones that the company made and sold themselves.
