Google Pixel Launcher Gets Better Before Pixel 3 Release, Watch Newer Concept Video
Even if Nova Launcher is the most popular launcher app on Android, the Google Pixel Launcher is still belonging to the upper level of launchers and gets better to accommodate the upcoming Google Pixel 3 device. The big tech company Google seems to be testing a revamped search bar for this launcher to be shipped together with the device.
According to XDA-Developers, the Google Pixel 3 Launcher just receives some tweaks to match perfectly with the new design language of the latest release of the Android P software. With no actual Pixel 3 handset yet, XDA Senior Member paphonb revamped the existing Pixel Launcher APK using the Pixel 2, enabling some of its hidden, in-development features. Before it’s released, paphonb caught glimpses of the revamped bottom search bar and will soon update us to his mobbed app with these new changes available as the toggle.
In terms of concept design for the anticipated Google Pixel 3, the video from the team over at a YouTube channel DBS DESIGNING just surfaced online showing a considerably different handset from the existing Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL. The third-party concept video gives us an idea about the upcoming Pixel 3 sporting razor-thin bezels and many interesting details.
As you look closely, the Google Pixel 3 might feature a horizontally-aligned dual rear camera setup. All the physical keys will be located on the right-hand side with the Google’s branding on the bottom at the back. The red-colored power or lock key will be already above the volume up and down buttons.
The QHD+ display of the Google Pixel 3 will have rounded corners with two front-facing speakers similar to its predecessors. A fingerprint scanner will no longer be visible since the device will offer an in-display fingerprint scanner. This imaginary device will come running Android P operating system paired with wireless charging, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of internal storage onboard. The release date of the Pixel 3 most likely won’t be before the fourth quarter this year but with bigger chances of shipping together with Pixel 3 XL.
