Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ Release, Leaks, Specs: Latest Image Confirms Dual-Camera And Fingerprint Location
Amidst the battery issue of Galaxy Note 8, Samsung is popping online every now and then. The South Korean tech giant is reportedly making the two hotly-anticipated devices, Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+. However, the latest tech news today notes the latest leak regarding said flagships.
The latest leak about the Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S9 and S9+ is entirely in line with recent reports about the duo handsets. The Galaxy S9 seen in the latest leak appears to be of the Orchid Grey variety, while the Galaxy S9 Plus can be seen with a Midnight Black finish.
The rear sides of Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ are covered with glass and have been redesigned to a large degree. The fingerprint readers now placed below the phones’ camera setups instead of to their right, as reported by Android Headline.
According to the leaked images, at the back side of the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+, there is a dual-LED (dual-tone) flash unit and a heart rate monitor. The Galaxy S9 looks to be set to succeed the single-lens camera setup found on its direct predecessor. However, the Galaxy S9+ will be company’s second flagship with a dual-camera system after the Galaxy Note 8.

There is also another leak coming from Weibo, the microblogging site. As per the leak, the latest iteration of Samsung‘s flagship devices will boast a higher screen-to-body ratio, apart from the narrow bezels on both upper and lower part of the devices, as reported by Techvicity.
According to the latest tech news today, Samsung is expected to officially announce the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ at MWC 2018. Both Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ expected to run Android 8.0 Oreo-based Samsung Experience 9.0 out of the box and boast Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 845 SoC.
