Fresh Leak Allegedly Shows 6.1-inch OLED Display iPhone X Plus
You must have already heard about the news that Apple is working on the three new iPhones scheduled to launch in September 2018. However, reports claim that Apple’s new A12 processor for 2018 iPhone models i.e. iPhone X Plus, iPhone X2 and iPhone 11 will give a tough competition to the Qualcomm’s Snapdragon chipset for Android flagships.
This current leak is coming from the reliable leaker known as Mr. White on Twitter, who has leaked accurate info and images in the past. However, this time his tweet seems to have some problems and if you are the one who is following news surrounding iPhone X Plus or any upcoming iPhone then you will notice it right away.

According to the Apple insider Ming-Chi-Kuo, the former KGI Securities’ analyst, Apple is going to reveal the three new iPhones which will vary according to displays. The one would be the straight “iPhone X Successor” with 5.8 inch OLED display that might be dubbed as iPhone X2 or iPhone 11. Another would be with 6.5 inches of OLED display tagged as “iPhone X Plus.” Now the remaining is the mid-range iPhone with 6.1-inch display ranging low at $549.
Now, coming to the problem with the tweet is that it shows a 6.1-inch screen for the third iPhone model which is a mid-range phone that supposedly keeps the price down by replacing the costly OLED display with less expensive LCD screen, including lesser RAM and avoiding the 3D touch support also.
The misconception takes place is that if we consider Ming-Chi-Kuo correct then there will be no 6.1 inch OLED display. And he often always correct. The tweet of Mr. White’s leak could be still legitimate as it must have some typo-errors with the screen size. He must be referring the 6.5 OLED display headed as iPhone X Plus, so we should not underestimate him as he has a good track record. Eventually, this leak provided the first look of display panels of Apple 2018 models.
