And now, some more interesting details have come to the fore which are definitely going to pique the audience’s’ curiosity.
Entertainment Weekly has just raised the curtain on the very first image of The Walking Dead season 9. In the image, we can see Michonne (Danai Gurira) riding on horseback, followed by the likes of Siddiq, Enid, and Cyndie.
Divulging more details about the new season, showrunner Angela Kang said, “We’ll explore what happened as man-made objects and structures break down. Infrastructure like roads and bridges are changing and crumbling. And we’ll also explore what happens as resources are getting low.”
Talking more about the zombie-filled series, Kang added, “There’s a fun Western vibe that has emerged. We are going into a period where a lot of the things that we’ve seen in previous seasons have broken down, so they’ve got these horses and carriages that are being drawn around instead of cars.”
