DJI Phantom 4 Pro V2.0 Confirmed, Drone Up For Earlier Release According To New Leak
Just last week, we were provided with a sneak preview of the rumored DJI Phantom 5 through a leak and it seems like it won’t be stopping there. Recently, another DJI drone leak has surfaced online, featuring the DJI Phantom 4 Pro V2.0.
The new leak, which was brought to light by the same source who revealed the existence of the DJI Phantom 5, sees the DJI Phantom 4 Pro V2.0 posted on a Chinese listing. The screenshot of the said listing was posted by a Twitter user named @G5Os6VaKOFsHynk.

According to Drone DJ, this person may be serving as a beta-tester for the company. They also suspect that he may have access to prototypes and inside information of upcoming DJI products.
The screenshot of the listing appears to be mostly in Chinese and is clearly an announcement for the DJI Phantom 4 Pro V2.0. From what we can translate, the new DJI Phantom drone will have 1-inch sized sensor size camera, which will be able to shoot in H.264, 4K at 24/25/30/48/50/60 frames per second and H.265 4K in 24/25/30 fps. Aside from this, the camera has also been installed with an aperture variable ranging from F/2.8 – f/11.
The announcement also seems to put emphasis on a new Flight Autonomy aspect. We suspect this to be another incoming feature for the new DJI Phantom 4 Pro V2.0, which, it obviously states, will probably enable users to switch from manual to auto control.
In terms of pricing, the listing says that the DJI Phantom 4 Pro v2.0 will be priced at 9,999 Yuan, which translates to $1,572 USD. Meanwhile, the unit which comes with DJI Care is valued at 11,999 Yuan and when converted equals to $1,886.
Another Twitter user who was tagged in the initial post affirms that the new DJI Phantom is up for an imminent release. He adds that it will likely be within 72 hours of the leak.
Although this is a promising lead, we still urge our readers to take this new development with a grain of salt. DJI has yet to confirm the authenticity of the leak, which is why it’s a must to look out for announcements from the company regarding this new information.
