Call of Duty 2019: PlayStation 5 Could Be Game's First Destination
Call of Duty 2019 is arguably one of the games that the public is most excited about. While its developers have been tight-lipped and mum about any major details of the game, there is one rumor that may give us a clue about the direction the popular series will go for the next edition.
Call of Duty 2019 in the PlayStation 5?
There is a strong chance that Call of Duty 2019 will be first seen as a game in PlayStation 5, according to ComicBook.com. This was after a LinkedIn job listing hints that developer Infinity Ward is hiring programmers to be part of the team working on the next Call of Duty. The fact that the listing says that the game is “new” and “unannounced” makes fans believe that it is the 2019 edition of the massively popular game.
While Sony recently said that it is not rushing the development of the PS5, fans also cannot help but think that this particular game would be the perfect launch title. It is certainly in Sony’s power to fast-track the manufacturing of the PS5.
There is no official confirmation from both Sony and Infinity Ward as to the truth about this rumor. For now, gamers will have to settle with Call of Duty games on the PS4.
Infinity Ward’s promise
In related Call of Duty news, Infinity Ward director Joel Emslie promised fans that the next Call of Duty will be “extraordinary,” according to Game Rant. He is said to have made this observation after he responded to a fan on Twitter. He even said that a project like this one is part of why he likes being part of the video game industry.
